4.3 Installing to a Non-DHCP Network Using the In-Sight

Connection Manager

To install an In-Sight 5000 series sensor on a network that does not provide a DHCP server,

use the In-Sight Connection Manager to configure the sensor’s network settings. This

installation may also require changes to network settings in Microsoft Windows (See section

2.2, page 8).

1. Ensure that the sensor is connected to the network and has power.

2. Open the In-Sight Connection Manager from the Cognex Program group on the Start Menu.

3. Select the second option, “Setup one or more In-Sight vision sensors to work on my network”

4. Click Next.
